Before any ink is applied to paper and the expensive print process begins, we throughly preflight the final print ready PDF whether that has been created by your team or ours. Our checks ensure the PDF file is going to work perfectly with the Pre-Press workflow and produce exactly what we are expecting on press. Hi-Res Digital or Hard copy proofs are then produced and signed off prior print.
When the job is then ready to go on press our experience team will work with the designated printer and Press Pass your job to make sure that the vision discussed at the very beginning is reproduced on paper.

DIGITAL PRINT

In the past digital print has been thought of as a lesser quality product when compared to litho print. However over the last decade the print quality has rapidly increased to a level where it compares to traditional printing techniques.
We use the industry leading Xerox i-Gen 150 printing press. It offers you an incredible turnaround on short run, high pagination jobs. On longer jobs it is still more economical to use litho printing, however, with digital printing there are lower set-up costs and you will still find that our prices are amongst the most competitive in the market.
We will communicate with you to find out your timescales and any other requirements of your job – and then book time on the press accordingly. By working directly with the digital print team, you receive an immediate response. This is often the difference between meeting that demanding deadline or missing an important window. HEATSET WEB
For the higher volume print runs we have the perfect solution with our Heatset Web solution.
Web machines use reels of paper, and stay as a continual line of paper through the machine. The sheet is printed both sides at the same time, and passes through an oven which immediately dries the ink. It is this process that gives web printed images sheen and amongst the other benefits of speed and cost, makes it very desirable for many publishers. Our web presses are all heatset machines, and can deliver signature sizes of 4, 8, 16 and 32 page sections, all at high speed, and all at superb quality. This makes for extremely fast turnaround times and ultimate flexibility. All our web presses use the same standard reel size too, so should we experience any breakdowns, rarely if at all would this impact on delivery dates.
