Event Objective:

The task at hand was to transform the Tonies-branded section within Hamleys Toy Store on London’s Regent Street into an exclusive space for a private invitation event hosted by influencers Giovanna Fletcher and MC Grammar. The challenge included concealing all other branding in a limited time frame of 15 minutes after the event’s conclusion to ensure a seamless transition before the store’s opening.

Event Features:

The revamped area was designed to facilitate storytelling, prize giveaways, and children’s play over the course of the 2 ½ hour event, aligning with the client’s vision for a dynamic and engaging space.

Processes:

Site Survey and Graphic Fixing Design:
Conducted a detailed site survey to assess the Tonies area within Hamleys.
Designed effective fixing methods for graphics, ensuring a visually appealing yet quick and efficient setup.

Installation and Strip Out:

Executed a swift and precise installation of event elements, considering the time constraint.
Coordinated a seamless strip-out process post-event to reinstate the regular store appearance within the tight 15-minute window.

Furniture, PA, and Props Sourcing:

Identified, sourced, and supplied suitable furniture, PA systems, and props, including a distinctive giant Tonies Box model to enhance the event atmosphere.

Vinyl Graphics Production:

Produced hanging vinyl graphics with quick-fix mounting points, facilitating easy installation and removal within the limited timeframe.

Pop-Up Spin to Win Wheel Refresh:

Refreshed the Pop-Up Spin to Win wheel to ensure functionality and an engaging interactive element for event attendees.

Outcome:

The Tonies Influencer Event at Hamleys was successfully executed, meeting the client’s expectations for a transformed and branded space while overcoming the logistical challenge of a time-sensitive strip-down and clear process. The event space provided an engaging environment for storytelling, prize giveaways, and children’s play, contributing to a memorable experience for all attendees.
